Sussex Leadcraft Ltd was established in 2020, bringing specialist leadsheet craftsmanship to clients across Sussex, the wider South East, and London. Despite being a relatively young company, the standard of work has been recognised at the highest level of the leadwork industry.
The company holds an Excellent grade — the highest achievable classification — with the Lead Contractors Association, and is a registered TrustMark contractor. This combination gives clients assurance of both technical proficiency and professional accountability, backed by independent assessment.
On the strength of work already completed, Sussex Leadcraft has been recognised as a finalist in the prestigious LCA Murdoch Awards on multiple occasions — including for leadwork at Coleridge Boarding House, Christ's Hospital (a Royal Charter school in West Sussex, founded 1552) in 2022, and at Peele Boarding House in 2024. The Murdoch Awards are the leadwork industry's highest peer-assessed accolade for craftsmanship.
The company also undertook the sloping lead roof at Laughton Manor using Code 6 lead — an example of the level of complex, high-specification work regularly delivered.
